As per our conversation we take a pre-authorization to cover any incidentals during your stay, when you checked out the unused funds are released, this may take up to 48 hours from check out to adjust on your credit card statement. I have contacted our POS system Bank and your funds have been released within the 48 hours of check out. I also spoke with an associate from Expedia and he assured me all payments and charges were done according to protocol.

We are very sorry to hear your stay with us did not meet your expectations. We recently re-opened our dinning room and switched from a buffet breakfast to a la carte service which put some extra stress on our staff however that should not be presented to our guests. My sincere apologies.

We are aware that the due to a large storm the Resort lost power for a portion of your stay. Hydro One’s website indicated a return to power by 5pm that day; unfortunately it was not until the following day that the Resort’s power came back. Though out of our control we understand how that can affect your stay. The resort has 2 generators for such situations. One keeps water running to the units, however it is shut off after midnight so the noise doesn’t affect guests trying to sleep. The other one power’s the main lodge so the kitchen can remain operational along with a few of our outlets including the TV so our guests can keep an eye on the news should they choose. The Front Desk has flashlights and glow sticks available that can be taken back to the units in case of such outages. Thank you for your stay.
