"The Asante Inn is a beautiful small property. The staff were very kind and helpful. They provided good meals for breakfast and dinner (added charge), with many options. The staff gave us a short tour of the property when we checked in. The gardens are beautiful and the onsen was easy to reserve and very nice as well. My only complaint is the pillows are quite hard but that is a personal preference. Overall, great experience. "

"Beds were soft and comfortable, and we loved the shared room! Nice area, friendly staff. The one small criticism we had that was unique to the 5 person room was that the toilet was shared with the bar next door. It was a bit old, but otherwise still very clean. Would still definitely stay here again."
"The room was cozy, the outdoor Onsen was fantastic. We love the privacy and the Mountain View.
The staff was well trained and extremely helpful, especially the food servers. We enjoyed every moment of our two night stay.
One issue that can be improved is the lack of a shuttle service for the guests. The Ryokan is on a rather steep slope and dragging our luggage back and forth was a real choir. Difficult to get a taxi from the Ryokan and the shuttle bus was not readily available.
The Ryokan should have a van and a driver to ferry people back and forth between the Ryokan and the town. Charge a bit more to cover the cost, we for one, will gladly pay for the convenience! Overall, well done, and thanks.
