"Overall it was fantastic, the breakfast was good and the staff were helpful. It was super relaxed, the sauna, steam room, jacuzzi and pool were lovely and we had it to ourselves both times we used it. The grounds are outstanding and on the edge of the forest, do go and explore. There's tea/coffee, snacks and areas to relax.The only fault I had is that I found the bed uncomfortable so I didn't sleep well, but I would still come back."

"Used the hotel as a base when visiting family in the local area. Nice location, very safe. All staff were professional and friendly. Rooms in both the annex and main hotel were spacious and clean, the main hotel perhaps feeling a little more modern. Great breakfast with both continental and hot fresh foods to order. Staff in the restaurant were exceptional! We were offered a fan in our room but it did little in the recent heatwave - totally not the hotel’s fault!! But perhaps consider installing some rooms with wall mounted AC could be great (I wouldn’t mind paying a bit more!!). We would certainly stay here again for future trips. Thank you!"

"I've stayed here on a regular basis for 2 years and have always been satisfied. However, under the new management, I was disappointed on my last visit. As there were no towels in my room and no hot water in the sink and no one on reception to request a towel from in the morning. I am going to book it again and hopefully I have no problems and things change back to how they were."

"I had such a wonderful stay here and can’t recommend it highly enough. The cabin is absolutely beautiful—tucked away in the woods, it’s incredibly peaceful and the perfect place to unwind and recharge. Everything was spotless, well thought out, and equipped with all the facilities you could possibly need. What really made the experience special were the thoughtful touches from the owner. I was welcomed with a lovely selection of treats, including a bottle of prosecco, milk, bread, butter, crisps, and other goodies, which was such a kind and generous gesture. Communication was also excellent throughout my stay. Whenever I had a question, I received a response almost immediately, which made everything feel easy and stress-free. If you’re looking for a tranquil escape with great amenities and outstanding hospitality, this is the perfect place. I would definitely stay again."
