"We reserved a non-smoking room with a King bed for a week in May 2026. Here was our experience: 1. Check-in time was 3 pm. I arrived at 2:50 to see both a "Travelodge" and a "Days Inn" sign on the hotel. Confusing. I was told I needed to come back in 10 minutes to check-in. 2. Once I checked in, I was told that the room with the King bed was not available but they had a room with two doubles. 3. The check-in procedure took 10 minutes because the woman checking me in continued to have a private conversation (in another language) with someone else in the office. 4. Sheets and blankets on the bed but no bed cover. No pictures on the walls. They were blank. The floor was linoleum and sticky with stains. No rug. 5. There was no fridge. There was a closet with no doors. A prison cell. 6. The TV was not connected to cable; just a fuzzy image. 7. The bathroom door didn't close and didn't lock. 8. The tub was clogged. 9. When you turned on the showerhead, water sprayed out from the back of the tub faucet. 10. Towels were tiny, max of 4x2 feet in dimension. 11. Minimal lighting. Very dark room. 12. On our third night, water from the tub flooded into the room under the tiles. 13. The next day, the hotel agreed to move us to a new room but only because we explained that they HAD to move us. 14. The lights in between the two beds didn't work in the new room. 15. There were cockroaches in the room. 16. Unhomed people living in the lobby. Unclean & unsafe."

"Unfortunately, had several issues coming in the phone didn’t work properly. I was unable to get room service. That’s the restaurant downstairs needed a credit card which would require me to go downstairs anyway so I just went and got food somewhere else.. my door key stopped working the following day. I had to contact the front desk and have a new key issued. It was just unfortunate because I do like these hotels not the best stay"

"I traveled down to DC from Philly for a few days with the hope of hitting the main attractions, touring, and walking around the city. I chose this place because of its close proximity to the bus that would take me down to those areas of DC. I can safely say that the choice of this motel almost ruined my trip. I’ve never stayed at a motel before, so maybe these complaints are misplaced but I just have to let people know what they’re getting into. This motel reeked of cigarettes from the moment I walked in. The room I stayed in had a cigarette smell AND my bedsheet also reeked of cigarettes. Clean clothes that I never wore during my stay there had to be washed upon returning home due to the bad smell of cigarettes on them from being laid on the bed. The place had paper thin walls and you could hear the noises of other people. The front desk was nice and the "
