"We chose this site to have affordable easy access to Washington DC. The walk to the Metro Station was a little longer than we thought (15 min.) based on reviews but still reasonable. The station itself had some construction (mostly for MARC train access) which made it a little confusing to find the Metro but people were helpful. The location was in an OK area. The on -site parking is $20 and a little tight if you have a larger SUV or truck but we found it ok. The public parking garage adjacent to the hotel has larger spots and is $1/hr. but closes at midnight according to the signage. Not sure how accessible your vehicle is overnight. The hotel is currently under some renovation but our room was very updated so you may want to inquire about the status. It had a good refrigerator with a good freezer section (rare to find in hotels these days). The lobby door was out of commission when we were there in late Sept. The elevator was also being serviced but that was fixed by the end of the day. Breakfast is included and was typical for a hot hotel buffet. Our lower score was probably influenced by someone playing their car radio very loudly outside our window at 11:30 pm. Then people arguing loudly outside our door before going back downstairs to the parking lot to continue their argument outside."

"I enjoyed my stay very much and will definitely return on future trips to DC. The home was beautifully decorated and very clean in a nice neighborhood. Tianni is a fantastic host who definitely cares about the guest experience. Lots of little touches throughout to make your stay enjoyable. The home is close to wonderful restaurants, just a couple of blocks away. We tried four of them and also the coffee shop in the bookstore, all were outstanding. You are close to the metro for easy travel throughout the city. The host also provided great suggestions for unique things to do in the neighborhood. Wonderful place to stay, highly recommend!"

"This rental space is well-maintained with an upgraded bathroom and a luxuriously large bed for sleeping. I did not try out the sleeper sofas but they appeared to be in fine condition. There is a small hotel-size fridge and microwave, with basic utensils for travelers who plan to eat most meals elsewhere, or microwave meals. Do pay attention to the details of additional expenses. The base advertised cost doesn't cover cleaning and parking fees,"
