MONA is an art museum located within the Moorilla winery on the Berriedale peninsula in Hobart, Tasmania, Australia. It is the largest privately funded museum in the Southern Hemisphere. MONA houses ancient, modern and contemporary art from the David Walsh collection. It is only 2 minutes away by car or 20-25 minute walk. You could spend the whole day enjoying the gallery. Whilst at MONA you can purchase Moorilla wines directly from their winery. Restaurants and cafes offer meals in an ambiance surrounded by amazing views. Music concerts and other festivals are sometimes held on the grounds. You can hire a bike at MONA and ride the Intercity Cycleway .
