"It's small and a little aged but right in the center of hiratsuka and walking distance to a lot of things. Perfect for someone coming for the tanabata like me. Fair warning, ever bed in Japan I've been on so far (4) is hard as a rock."

"Great house and not far from the Aquarium. A little loud at times due to proximity of the train near the house but overall a great spot!
And thanks for the help sending back one of our forgotten items. Much appreciated. "

"Beautiful hotel connected to a shopping mall and restaurants. Not close to the main attractions, but it's our second time here, so we’re exploring different places beyond Shinjuku and Shibuya. "
"What a magical hotel complex! The buildings and grounds are absolutely beautiful and impeccably maintained. The hospitality we experienced was like none other. The hotel was easily accessed via the Tozan train. It's a short walk to the hotel from Miyanoshita Station, but there is a hotel shuttle available if preferred. We stayed in the Forest Wing and the rooms were comfortable (firm mattress!) and clean. The breakfast was delicious with amazing presentation on China and silver dishes. So many things to explore - the outdoor gardens, the onsen, the pool, the gym, the museum, and the coffee/beverage room. I would come back to Japan/Hakone just for this stay! Arigato gozaimasu!"
"I often stay at this hotel, which is clean, with spacious rooms. I like the location, and most of the staff members are extremely friendly. One negative is that although I have stayed probably 100+ nights over the past few years, the reservations system doesn't recognize me if I book via an agency (e.g. Expedia), which I always do, because the prices are terrible via the hotel's website. Several times I have been given an awful room (brick wall view) and had to change it. Obviously a chain-wide IT problem, but one that should be fixed and it would benefit the hotel's customer service delivery to do so.
