"The hotel was good, but be warned the breakfast is very poor (two slices of bread, yogurt, juice, and an egg you need to cook yourself). The area around the hotel was also good, walking distance to everything we wanted to see but street not well lit at night so take that into consideration. Also only stairs at the hotel so need to carry luggage up if not on the ground floor. "

"I was promised Wi-fi, but it took 3 days before I was able to connect because the Wi-fi service had not been paid by the owner. The windows did not stay open, and needed something to keep them open, which was not supplied. The kitchen was bare of necesities for food preparation (e.g., oi, spices). Communication always took a long time to get a response. TV channels and aps were limited."

"This wonderful hotel is staffed by professional, friendly and caring people whose aim is to make their guests feel welcome in all respects. The breakfast at Punto Ocho includes food items for every conceivable palate and is deliciously presented by an attentive and helpful staff. The hotel’s location is ideal with regard to restaurants, parks, historical sites, the central market and so much more - all can be reached by short walks, sometimes only steps away. This was our third stay, and we will gladly return in the future. "
"This hotel is a really perfect balance of history and renovated amenities. The staff were incredible all around. Rooms were nice and comfortable and quiet.
The pool needs a but more care as it is popular with the birds but otherwise the roof is amazing and I enjoyed it every day I was there. Exercise extra caution after dark in the area around the hotel. Person on moped attempted to snatch my phone 1 block away. Hotel feels safe and secure. Just extra caution is needed after dark.
Highly recommend for a visit to Santiago. Walkable to many many great museums and neighborhoods. "
"From the moment I arrived at The Singular, I knew I was in for something special. The attention to detail and level of service were truly unmatched. I didn’t have to touch a single door handle my entire stay! Every staff member anticipated my needs before I even had to ask.
The rooms were elegant and perfectly maintained, and the atmosphere throughout the hotel struck a perfect balance between luxury and warmth. The rooftop bar offered breathtaking views of Santiago, and the breakfast was one of the best I’ve had anywhere — fresh, refined, and beautifully presented.
My stay at The Singular was effortless from start to finish, and I left already planning my next visit. Highly recommend for anyone looking for understated elegance and world-class service in the heart of the city."
