"Amazing hotel so beautiful right on the lake perfect. We got upgraded from a cosy double to a regular double which was lovely. Staff were very nice, breakfast was great, house keeping were great, they wrote a card to the birthday guest which was so lovely. Perfect location to walk into town and to the lake harbour. Had an amazing trip loved it! Thank you. "

"My room was OK bathroom with walk in shower was very nice. The staff were excellent and the food was a delight. Never used the bar but looked very nice. Fantastic position right opposite the Rail station. Not much parking on property, but plenty close by. "

"Lovely warm rooms, on a particularly cold weekend, spotlessly clean and including very useful kitchen, sofa, table and chairs. My only area for improvement would be better communicating that these rooms are essentially self-catering. A small amount of tea, coffee and milk is provided as a welcome when you arrive, but you really need to bring your own if you are staying for more than one night. We came in unequipped for self-catering, but there was a small shop for essentials and a bar/restaurant for lunch and dinner on-site. Staff were also extremely helpful in directing us to a nearby truckers’ café that did really good breakfasts. I would definitely stay here again."

"The staff were all very efficient and friendly. The quality of food was excellent along with the service and very reasonably priced. The facilities were well maintained and the room was well appointed with a very comfortable bed. Very quiet and peaceful with great views of lake Windermere. We will certainly be back."
