"Perfect location, train station is steps away"

"A very convenient location next to the river. Close to everything. Charming Victorian hotel. Carpets need to be replaced, but generally the place was in good shape. Clean. Breakfast was classic buffet, nothing exciting, but plenty to eat and everything tasted fine. Dinner was pretty good. However, there are plenty of restaurants and pubs in the area, so I am guessing many guests are not having dinner at the hotel. The bar (in the restaurant) had a few draft beers and plenty of liquor choices. The staff members were all VERY friendly and helpful. "

"Behind our door hadn’t been vacuumed- for ages. Lumps of dust - not seen if door was open but closed it drew the eye - what is that on the carpet? Apart from the above all was good "
