"Staff were very helpful and friendly. My friend and I booked a twin room which was a very good price. Overall it was clean but there was no plug in the sink and no mattress protector on the beds. The room has a safe and a small fridge, but the biggest disappointment was the absence of a kettle and tea/coffee facilities. Maybe this is a generation thing, but it has put us of returning. We had a drink in the bar which was very nice and reasonably priced. I suppose you get what you pay for. "

"Nice quiet room given to us away from the lifts. Able to adjust the heating, very comfortable bed, clean bathroom with free toiletries. Great to have recyclable plastic cups instead of previous paper cups. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Amazing continental buffet breakfast to graze on in the morning - worth the money and big part of our trip. We stay twice a year when seeing a play over the road at the Royal Exchange Theatre, can be back in our room in under 5 minutes - bliss. Also great to go around the shops and my husband visited the Lowry paintings in the Manchester Art Gallery. So maximised our overnight stay."
