The spa experience was exceptional — the thermal pool and treatments left me feeling completely relaxed and rejuvenated. "Nice and comfortable house for a 2 night stay with friends. Very close to plenty of restaurants and pubs. The kitchen could do with a few additions to get you started - dishcloth and washing up liquid not provided and no dishwasher so we washed the dishes which is fine. No corkscrew and not sure about the rear door and windows being locked and no keys apparent? Beds were clean and comfy. The shower was leaking from next to the hose connection. Heating was very good . "

"The room was small but adequate and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our breakfasts and had plenty to choose from. The bar staff were pleasant and helpful. It would have been good to have some evening lights on the outside path down to the town. The gardener had a difficult job to clear the leaves from the path. He did a good job"

From the moment we stepped into the pub to the moment we checked out, the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming or attentive — they truly made us feel at home. The location is spot-on, right on the high street with loads of bars, restaurants, and shops just steps away. Even though the hotel is connected to a lively pub, they close the back door after 9pm, so it’s perfectly peaceful in the rooms behind. We slept like babies! And the breakfast? Top-notch — delicious and satisfying. If you’re looking for a warm, well-located place with fantastic service, I’d wholeheartedly recommend The Queens Head Hotel. Five stars all the way! 🌟"
