"Clean and ample facilities, friendly staff, convenient & beautiful location. Our room was really spacious and close to kitchen, reception, bar and common room. 15 minute walk to Castleton centre and free parking. Just perfect. We’ve recommended to family already. "

"My family and I stayed here for one night. It was good value for money, with all mod cons, very clean and even a had a hot tub.
The main bed is a huge 4 poster and very comfortable.
I would stay again 👍"

Perfect for all Large Groups in 7 all Ensuite Bedrooms . Pet Friendly
10/10 Excellent
"Excellent location for family get-together & birthday party. The host (Fiona) was extremely helpful & pub staff provided really great service & friendly too. Pub Food was excellent 100% accurate for such a large party. The accommodation is a little quirky, but exactly as expected given it’s within a 16th century property. Great that they also have a (convenience) shop on site given that the local store is now permanently closed."
"Our stay was amazing, no faults at all! The staff were incredible in every sense, so accommodating, so welcoming and all the little touches went a long way. The room was perfect and had all the amenities we needed. The pub had amazing food in the evening and the breakfast was 10/10!"
"Room was a bit smaller than it looks in the photos but there was plenty of space. Only a few minute drive from many caverns. Had a wonderful time and the host was just lovely."

"Location was excellent for walks, Castleton centre, pubs & restaurants.
The cottage is very small but fine for two people & a dog. The log burner is great but no wood or matches are provided. The little kitchen area has everything you need although there isn’t any space for prepping food. The stairs are very steep. The bed is extremely comfortable & we slept really well. Both the bedroom & bathroom are great, although there is a step up to the shower which is quite precarious. The cottage was extremely clean.
There is an area to sit outside but it is on the general thoroughfare so not private. You can park outside for unloading & then get a free parking pass for the car park, which isn’t far away
Overall we had a great stay but we felt it needed a few little extras to give it full marks"
