"WOW! No words but book this place! Was greeted immediately, check in was so smooth and efficient. Was given a box of chocolates!

"The ground-floor cottage is part of a four-unit complex. There are three complexes and they are adjacent to a 9-story condominium building. The sandy beach is right in front of the cottage and if you are lucky, you may see green turtles resting in the morning by the shore. The unit is very well furnished (beach towels, snorkeling equipment, beach chairs, surf boards, kitchen). There is no a/c but there are plenty of fans so we felt comfortable. This part of the island has a lot of Food Trucks, not so many regular restaurants. We enjoyed Ken’s Fresh Fish Market where we got an ahi katsu sandwich and sashimi. Going to the Polynesian Cultural Center is definitely worthwhile and since it is only 10 minutes away, you can go back 3 more times on consecutive days—it is very well run (recommend the chicken dish at the Samoan eating place). For groceries we went to Foodland in Laie. The cottage is well located, it is an older unit but has all you will need during your stay."

"Host was very accommodating to our needs and allowed us to stay a bit after our checkout time because our flight didn't leave until 10pm. We enjoyed our stay so much we didn't want to leave! The house was clean, kitchen was stocked with everything we needed, beds were comfortable, outdoor space was where we spent most of our time because of the beautiful weather and scenery. It is just a short walk to the beach, we enjoyed our time there very much. I highly recommend this place and would come back again in an instant! This picture was taken in the front yard of the house."

"Great house that has just about everything you could want. Tons of beach stuff- snorkels, sand shoes, surf/boogie boards, chairs, cooler, etc. Second fridge outside is clutch for holding groceries, etc.All rooms have AC, it will take some time upon arrival to cool it off if its a hot day but other than that, they were great.The house is in a pretty low key part of the north shore. About a 45-50 minute drive from HNL. There are places on the way to stop for groceries which was nice. Youll be driving for about 10-20 minutes to get to Waimea Bay for instance so expect to drive to see the really nice beaches. The beach that you can walk to from the property is quite small with a decent amount of rocks. Given the choice to go to the beach at the house or drive to a nicer one, we chose to explore and drive to other beaches on the island. The house felt safe. No issues with neighbors or anything at all. There is also a lime tree in the backyard for your use as well as a beautiful tree in the front yard that you can make your own lei with if you bring some floss or string with you.All in all, its a great base camp for your hawaiian adventures!"
"Great house and better location for our ohana of 16. Our kids had the best time making memories with the included boogie boards and surf boards. The adults made good use of the outside patio overlooking the water. Fantastic location for PCC, Shark’s Cove, and desirable eating options. "

"House was clean. Process was good. Location on the east side of the island provides a better feel for true Hawaii and avoids the more touristy, commercial areas. I’d stay here again. "
"Dave and Kristen are the perfect hosts, and their penthouse condo is the perfect place to stay! We were a party of 11 aged 9 to 70 and this was the perfect stay for all of us! The condo was comfortable and well-stocked, the beach area is perfect for sunbathing, snorkeling, and swimming. The condo was well stocked with beach and water gear also! The view is magnificent, and the unit is centrally located close to shops, restaurants and attractions. There were turtles on our beach each morning and evening and the kids even saw them while snorkeling. I highly recommend staying here - my entire family gave it a 10/10. "
