"This is an older Marriott, but conveniently located and has special cultural experiences. The price is higher than may be expected and they charged $23 for parking which is a surprise since this is a small town location and no competition for parking space."
Tranquil Sandy Beachfront - minimal beach traffic. Like your own private beach

"Wade was excellent to work with - very responsive and accommodating! Loved the location as it was right in the middle of everything we wanted to do. Close to Kualoa Ranch, Polynesian Cultural Center and all of the North shore. Waikiki/Honolulu area was a bit farther (1 hour plus) but we only went that direction 2 of our 9 days. North shore beaches are wonderful!! Ted's Bakery and Kula Shave Ice were 2 of our favs, along with the food trucks. If you are staying for an extended time, it is worth the trip to Honolulu for Sam's/Wal-mart to get groceries - significantly less expensive. Crouching Lion restaurant (just down the road to the south) was AMAZING!! Beds are comfy, everything was clean and well stocked. Was a bit taken back by all the wear and tear/rust from the salt water. No A/C - evenings and early mornings were fine, but daytime was a bit unbearable. Luckily we were gone almost everyday until after sundown. Overall, fabulous trip, stayed 9 days. Loved being right on the ocean - beautiful sunrises every morning!!"

"This house was great for our stay and the host was amazing and very responsive! It is a very convenient location with a beautiful beach across the street. The AC in each room was great. Beds are comfortable. The only fault we found was that the futon beds in the rooms are very small, not long enough for a teenager. And it advertises that there are two twin couch beds in the living room, these beds do not pull out into a bed, it is literally just a couch that someone would sleep on. Other than that, it was perfect for our family!"

"Everything was as shown in the listing. We were able to access the property exactly on time. We had no troubles getting into or out of the property and it had plenty of space for us to park."

"This property and area was perfect. The bedrooms all had AC. Large open living/kitchen/dining area large enough for our group of 5 adults. Nice table/chairs on front porch to enjoy your morning coffee. Beautiful grounds with amazing foliage and a short walk to the beach made every morning our start to the day. Our property manager was truly the best in making sure we arrived with easy check-in to the home, checking in with us throughout our stay and making sure we had everything we needed. And this place seriously had everything you needed for cooking, BBQing, beach towels & chairs, beach shoes, snorkel gear, boards & so much more. Grocery stores and local shopping so very close yet you felt like you were miles away from it all at this home. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly which made our much needed peaceful visit truly so enjoyable. Having a car on Oahu is a must so you can get to all the amazing beaches, restaurants & shops and this place was a perfect location. The area also had a beautiful beach & park for those early risers to watch the sun rise! This home will certainly be one we all come back to. Mahalo and Aloha!!"
"The property was clean and exactly as advertised. There was more than enough space for our party of 7 and the host Carol was very friendly and helpful. Since the property sits right on the beach, you literally take a few steps off the backyard lawn and you're on the beach. We found the water to be gentle enough for swimming with small waves for bodysurfing and boogie boarding, although there are some rocks in certain areas. There were boogie boards, beach umbrellas, and other equipment that was provided that we made good use of. We also enjoyed the pickle ball court but the basketball court was sadly under repair. Nonetheless, everything else about the property was great. The rooms were clean and towels were stocked abundantly throughout the house for our many beach days. There are some nuances to the padlocks for the sliding doors in the second floor area, but it was relatively easy to figure out how to lock everything up when leaving for the day. Overall, we had an excellent stay!"

"Took a little effort to find the place because it is located in the countryside but excellent instructions were provided, and well worth the short drive. We highly recommend this tiny house and would absolutely use it again. Clean, nice little kitchen, good air conditioning. Owners very friendly and accommodating "
