"Perfect for 1 night before or after a flight. Middle of nowhere so it was quiet. The staff were super lovely, couldn’t do enough for you. Only things that were a let down - the tv didn’t work and the shower only had two settings - very hot (and I like my showers hot, so this was saying something) or cold (which you couldn’t get it back to cold until you turned it off again)"

The pub is only about 15 minutes drive away from Lewes train station which takes you to either Brighton or Eastbourne it was ideal for us has we were there for the football at Brighton. "

"Lovely Sussex country setting. The bedrooms are all very cosy and tastefully decorated. The bathroom in our suite was very luxurious. Modern tv in the room with streamed channels available. Plenty of sockets for charging phones, etc. The hosts could not have been more welcoming and took very good care of us - thank you."

Fridge, microwave tea coffee and more. You have everything you need for a lovely comfortable stay. Secluded with a beautiful garden to explore. "I stayed in the Love & Peace cottage. I initially was only staying a few days, but resulted in staying 3 weeks due to my father's health. Pat, the owner, was so welcoming and then so accommodating with the uncertainty of my length of stay. Going through a rollercoaster of emotions, Pat always made sure I was ok. "Countryside enfolded the TJS and as soon as we walked in we were made to feel welcomed. Our room was clean and fresh. Everything you needed had been thought of, big walk-in shower. fluffy robes, small fridge with water and milk for your tea. We only had breakfast but was freshly cooked and lasted us all day. We loved our stay and would definitely go back. TJS gets our thumbs up. "
