"Great hotel, delicious food and very peaceful and quiet location with excellent parking!"

"Great stay as always, room clean and breakfast great"

"Great location, pleasant traditional rustic bar with some good ales. Rooms were dated and bathroom needed some tlc.but for our needs it was perfect. Breakfast was excellent and kept me going all day. The dinning area was rustic too, but ok for us. Would use again."

"Room was clean and evening meal was excellent. Breakfast was good but quite expensive but really enjoyed our 2 night stay"

"Great rooms attached to a great pub. Good pub food and well priced. Loads of parking - what's not to like!"

"Helpful friendly staff and management. Upgraded room much appreciated, large and pristine. Thank you. Excellent bathroom. Nice quality bed linen and towels. Convenient location in a lovely area to visit."

"Hotel was very well managed, staff were friendly and plenty of space for meal, drink and socialising outside and in town."

"Lovely overnight stay, with excellent breakfast."

"The bed was ok, it was a single, lots of storage, kettle with tea bags, tv and a safe. Bathroom light was automatic so goes off if you're in the shower, where there was no shower gel or soap. The internal stairs are fine but getting out the fire escape for out of hours access is where it's tricky. There's a balcony out there with seating. Fine for short stays and there's a bus stop outside for when it runs."

"Easy check in very friendly staff, food at hotel was good, breakfast was fresh and plenty available"
