Checking in and out was essentially done by self-service on screens at reception, although there was a staff member there to assist. The Club room was spacious and clean. Large bed and comfortable bed. Good sound proofing. We were there for an organised dinner. The staff were very helpful, the food was good and the drinks at the bar were not outrageously priced. They could have stocked a (Scottish) malt whisky, but otherwise there was plenty of choice. Overall, we had a great stay. We did not use the gym or pool, but they looked to be well maintained.

Exterior of building looking a bit tired! Leisure facilities (sauna and steam room), were a little unclean. Outside of the hotel were motorcyclists racing and doing wheelies until late hours of the evening.

Not perfect, but an enjoyable stay.

This hotel is look just a little tired now, but it's still buzzing with life. The room was comfortable, reception staff very helpful too. Breakfast was varied, though there was no porridge available on either of the two days we were there. On one of the days, my pain au chocolate seemed like it had been microwaved for far too long. When I bit into it, it was far too hard, and not at all fresh. Very disappointing. The next day though, the pastries were very fresh.

The Village Hotel is a great line of hotels! nice and unique yet modern design throughout. Restaurant has lovely food. Could be a bit cleaner, rooms were a little dusty. Otherwise, a great stay! Will be staying again!

Good quality accommodation at a great price. The gym was very good the swimming pool was extremely disappointing not much more than a play pool. Rooms are large and well appointed. The breakfast is good and inclusive of the room rate. All in all a good experience.
