Dropped bags off in the morning then checked in at 5pm (can check in from 3pm) to find out there’s not a room allocated to us (booked 2 rooms). Were advised we could have an assisted room which absolutely is no necessary or what we had paid for. So out of 2 rooms 1 was not allocated & the other had not been marked as inspected. Air con did not work & couldn’t open the window. Was provided an air con unit which made no difference & fan. Disappointed with the room situation & didn’t sleep well due to the heat. Everything else was ok.

Every member of staff we came across were wonderful. The hotel was perfectly situated for us to walk to The Shard and then to Shakespeare’s Globe. Couldn’t fault anything.
