This motel was exceptional in the outside surrounds as well as the room. It was very well set up with toaster, coffee maker and microwave. The room was pleasant and exceptionally clean. I would recommend it.

Our stay was comfortable the room was spotless. Close to everthing. The room was dark. No house keeping did not know this until we asked on our second morning, this was not mentioned when we checked in. Was told there was a sign in the room it was small and we hadn't seen it. No cloth to wipe spills off the bench. The first Motel we've stayed in where there was no housekeeping

Nice clean hotel room-unfortun our rooms smelt like cigarette smoke (non-smoking room) But other than that couldn't fault it. Friendly staff at check in

Definitely stay here
Spotlessly clean, convenient to town centre but still quiet. Staff fantastic, friendly and helpful. Good environmental initiatives.

Treated like a second class citizen
Kelly was friendly enough at check in, but it was downhill from there. All following interactions were unpleasant, would even go so far as to say standoff-ish. It could have possibly because we were raising concerns regarding the standard of service or the nature of accommodation, or possibly even due to our ethnic background. The room was reasonably sized, TV was a bit on the smaller side, beds were ok, and location was close to Hamilton CBD. Unfortunately, the bathroom smelt like someone’s armpit, and there was no daily room service, “for an eco-friendly stay”. I feel that it was more due to limited resources with too much work as I noticed that there weren’t many staff. Thankfully we didn’t spend too much time in the room. On the first night, we got woken up at 3:00am by someone, who claimed that they “got the wrong room” when we opened the door. Shortly after apologising, our door was knocked on again, but this time, we ignored the knocks. This unexpected experience made us feel unsafe and nervous for the rest of our stay. As one can understand, we didn’t get back to sleep that evening, only passing out from exhaustion the second night. Kaine was quiet at check out, didn’t really say much or have any well wishes for us, which is unusual, as this is Basic Hospitality 101. Given the chance to visit Hamilton again, I would stay elsewhere.

The service was pleasant and the room was clean. Only 2 things let them down, the TV reception was spotty and dropped out a few times. We connected to Netflix but this also dropped out a few times and we gave up in the end... The other was some rather rude guests that were outside at 4am and did not care about anyone else - not the hotels fault, just one of those things on a Saturday night. Overall we did enjoy our stay.
