"This house was a perfect place for creating family memories!! It is not far from Schofield Barracks, which is where my son and family are stationed. We spent most of our time sitting out back, watching/listening to the ocean. It is so close to great restaurants, stores and beaches with turquoise waters. The ocean water in the back yard was brown most of the time from heavy rains. But we still walked the beach and saw some sea turtles. The air conditioning was necessary and worked great. When we had any questions during our stay, it was always a quick response. It was a great experience!!!"

"Excellent property! It was clean, beds were comfortable and it had spectacular mountain views and close to some beautiful beaches and some great local food stops. The property had many fruit trees and we enjoyed exploring and picking some fruit which the host was kind to share with us. The place was exactly what we needed for a short North Shore getaway. The AC unit blocked out all of the early morning country sounds which we read about. This one is on our coming back list."

I would not recommend packing your days with stuff away from this property as you will want to enjoy at least half of every day soaking it all up Matsumoto Shave Ice and Makua Banana Bread Co. nearby are both a MUST on your foodie list The Toa Luau in Waimea Valley was just phenomenal "

"Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Hale Kai is a wonderful memory now. The beds were a little on the soft side, but otherwise we had a fun, sunny, relaxing week. (Wish it was two!) We especially loved visits from the roving kitty, Pookie. She was special and I miss her!"

"Rustic, great experience, a lot of fun. There are dogs on the property, but they are friendly and it was a blast. Would highly recommend. Remember, it’s a Glamping Yurt, so meter your expectations. We knew what it was going into it, and we really enjoyed it."
