"Incredible stay! Off the grid and an amazing view of the whole island. Everything was clean and organized and the pool and Hot tub and sauna combo made it feel like I was down at the resorts except with my own peace and serenity. Would come again "

"The location of this home is perfect for Upcountry! Wish we had chosen to stay there another night or 2 as it’s also very convenient to the things we did in Paia. The area is gorgeous! The home sits on the side of the mountain with a gorgeous East and West view! The hosts were amazing as well!"

"Everything about this cabin is fantastic. From the incredible view to the special touches from the host like fresh flowers and fruit, we could not have been happier. "Maddie and Jimmy could not have been friendlier or more thoughtful hosts. They welcomed us to their beautiful home with a bounty of food and treats, including fresh eggs from their flock of hens. They were also readily available for anything we might need.The location was perfect for our trip to an Upcountry family funeral, but Kula is also a great location for visiting Haleakala, Makawao, and the other local attractions. We spent most of our days at our relativeʻs house, but one morning everything lined up and we were able to sit on the lanai and enjoy a breakfast of bread and tropical fruit, eggs and coffee, all courtesy of our hosts. I wish weʻd had more time to walk the grounds planted with oranges, banana, ginger, ti plants, and travelers palms, among others.The split king mattress and other beds were all very comfortable, but the shower merits particular mention: 6 different heads in various configurations with adjustable temperature and pressure means that you can get your perfect wash every day. Iʻd never been in a shower like it, and it was a revelation, especially after some of the hot, muggy Maui days.Thanks, Maddie and Jimmy, for your incredible hospitality!"

"Breathtaking views, quiet serenity, and a communicative host. Beautifully appointed home, well stocked kitchen, all you could need. We would 1000% recommend this home if you are looking to stay upcountry. The only drawback Is the drive time to West Maui,that’s it. Phenomenal home, great host otherwise."
