"Wonderfully modern and clean home. The best part was the restaurant next door and the private Onsen soaring tub. They provide a number toiletries as a convenience if you didn’t bring any. The mini splits do take time to warm up the home, but once they do it is very comfortable. "

"Perfect lake side hotel in Hakone. The oversized room had more than enough space for three of us plus our luggage. The staff was very warm and friendly. We chose not to have dinner at the hotel but we did visit the French restaurant for breakfast and it was wonderful. The food was delicious and the staff was very attentive. The onsen was also enjoyed. Great property and I would definitely stay again."
"Our stay here was magical. The staff were attentive and helpful. The area was so beautiful and peaceful surrounded by forest. The public onsen was empty both times we used it so actually quite private and so relaxing!! The hotel were so kind and decorated our room for our honeymoon. The food was sublime, I would definitely recommend getting dinner, and our special fruit plate was such a sweet touch. Wearing the traditional dress and staying in the paper walled rooms felt so authentic and made our honeymoon so special. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! ❤️🔥"
"What a great hotel/rycon. I wanted to experience a traditional Japanese inn. This is it. From my arrival to leaving the staff did a wonderful job making me comfortable and welcome. Kiseke dinner was notable with six courses or more of Japanese meals. Service was as good as it gets best I’ve ever had. Onsen is notable as well. There are indoor and out door baths. My room was special- very large and spacious no shoes worn in the rooms a wonderful sitting area overlooking lake ashi and best of all a wonderful view of Mount Fuji! So special having morning coffee looking out over huge picture window and Mount Fuji. It’s pricey but worth the experience in every way. "
"I loved my stay here! The food was not our thing but it was very cool to have a traditional Japanese meal, we just didn’t eat much of it because it if very different than what we are used to "
"The best part of our trip was staying here with our three young children. We stayed on the top floor. We enjoyed the treats and drinks in the fridge. The view, private onsen, foot bath, and sauna is an experience well worth every penny. Our family loves community and connection… you cant do that with Rakuten because they are purely transactional. However, you can find the connection with kind people in the community. Some parts of the place were dusty because I notice when I pay for a place. The beds were VERY comfortable and we had the best sleep in Japan at this hotel than any other. The accessible areas to explore by just walking out your door is perfection. We love this place so much and hope to return for a longer stay in the near future. "
"Un expérience incroyable! Nous avons adoré. Je recommande fortement. La bouffe est excellente pour un style buffet. Le Olsen est très bien. C’est situé près du tour de bateau et du lac. Un endroit parfait pour relaxer. "
