"Looks are deceiving. From the outside it doesn't look much, but the upper floor rooms have been very well renovated and have some great views along the river. We will certainly be returning."

"Our two night stay was very pleasant . Margaret and Ken were very welcoming and very helpful during our stay. This Motel is part of Nambucca’s History and is very interesting. Our room was excellent and very comfortable and the added cooked breakfast was a great start to the day. We would not hesitate to return."

"Really friendly guy running reception. The room was well appointed and comfortable. We just stayed one night passing through but it was good. The tennis court has a little work to be done but I don’t play so no harm there."

"From the check-in with the lovely lady at reception on Saturday to the pleasant bar staff at the dinner we had a great time. Room was great clean and comfortable and pricing was perfect. Be great to have some champagne glasses in the room just for something else that would be better in the room!"
The Lodge Bellingen

"We loved our stay at The Lodge in Bellingen. Everything was easy to do, location was great and the kids loved feeding the alpacas! The only thing to mention, is that the top bunk is much higher than a standard bunk. Unfortunately this meant that both of our young children weren't comfortable climbing to the top or sleeping up there. Other than that, it is a beautiful and accessible accommodation facility."

"Check in and out was quick and easy , friendly staff at reception. The cabin was old and dated but was fine for 3 nights . The front deck on cabin felt as if you could go thru it and the step tread moved when you stepped on it other than that was good enough."
