"The location is perfect for the Convention Centre (via a 5 minute walk) and access to the main Broadbeach area. The staff were incredible - the lovely and friendly lady on check in couldn't have been nicer or more helpful! There is some confusion in how to get to/from if you're driving, only because they don't have a dedicated space for pick up/initial registration (drive past the Star Casino, but you need to then double-back past Star Residences). You then have to go back around past the Star Casino and then around the back to park - it's not really well-signed. Plus, some online booking sites mention it's a discounted $20 parking fee but it's actually $25. The rooms are nice, but they're not dark enough (there's a lot of light under the door from the hallway and from the window at night time even with the curtains closed). And a minor thing - I think it was a mistake but I had 2 body washes and 1 conditioner vs. 1 body wash, 1 shampoo, 1 conditioner in the squeezy toiletries. The best part about my stay would definitely be the staff and their service, and the ideal location for what I needed."

"Overall had an amazing stay. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, and the property itself was great with the pool, bar, and restaurant inside. We really enjoyed the buffet breakfast which was included. The room itself was spacious and clean, especially the bathroom. My literal only complaint which knocked this review from a 5 to a 4 is that the bed was extremely uncomfortable. It was so soft to the point where we were sinking into it. It was very difficult to get comfortable, and it severely impacted our sleep. My back is still sore. I’m usually pretty resilient when it comes to hotel beds of varying softness, but the beds at this hotel were just wayyy too soft."

"Fantastic location right on the beach and a short distance to main shopping of surfers plus the tram/light rail and excellent walking path. Fantastic facilities with 2 pools and spa and sauna Room was great and bed very comfy Staff very nice and allowed early check in which was great Highly recommend and best place we have stayed"
