ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC ACCOMMODATION, QUALITY AND VALUE AT REASONABLE RATES!!! The premises are spotless, the unit has everything you could possibly need and more. So much thought and effort has been put into making your stay comfortable, warm and cosy. The bed was clean, fresh and comfortable, with electric blankets and bedside lights. There was a fully equipped kitchenette with luxury appliances, cutlery, microwave, tea towels and washing liquids available. The bathroom, although compact,...

a special place, v nice ppl

Easy after hours check in. Nice rooms.

Clean room. The maintenance staff was really helpful regarding the charging of our ev. Although the place did not have an ev charger, they provided us with an extension cord for the vehicle charging overnight. Thanks for your assistance. We will definitely come back!

My partner and I are from the city and needed a weekend to getaway. The hilltop upstairs apartment exceeded my expectations and is by far one of the most beautiful places I have stayed at. The attention to detail, the view and size of the apartment was enough for us to want to stay inside and not have to go anywhere. Clean, quiet, spacious and luxurious. You can jump in the spa in the evening open the window and smell country air and wood log fire.

Great spot for the night. Everything is modern and clean, bed very comfy Only thing that would improve the experience would be a rug under the dining table or something to muffle chair sounds as we had a neighbour up early moving their chairs around constantly Would stay again

The nicest motel we have ever stayed in. The included in room breakfast was great! The location very convenient, close to the caves and the pub.

Either I stayed in a different room to the one photographed, or the photographs need to be updated. The room we stayed in was far better than expected. The room is very well appointed with plenty of space and it is clear that the property is immaculately maintained. I'd definitely stay again and hopefully will have more than one night too.

Such pleasant friendly and welcoming staff! This was my 2nd time using this motel and so glad i did!

We really could not fault either Paynesville or Captains Cover Resort both exceeded our expectations. The apartment is modern, well appointed and spotlessly clean. It is a short walk into Paynesville proper and the ferry to Raymond Island and our walk among the koalas. Bairnsdale Golf Course was a short distance from the resort and a pleasure to play.

We stayed two nights at the hotel because we attended a seminar. We felt very comfortable in the room. The room was large, very clean and well fitted out. It was the best hotel we ever stayed in in Australia. We just loved it. The staff were very nice and the breakfast was great.

I and my husband stayed here a year ago and had no hesitation in rebooking for our latest trip as we were absolutely blown away by this "unassuming " motel. The staff were friendly and the rooms were amazing. It was well stocked and the prices for the food offered in the rooms were not astronomical as in many other motels we've stayed in. We will definitely be staying here again on our trips between Wollongong and Melbourne.

The service was great and the room was recently refurbished making it a very comfortable stay in a great location.

All rooms are absolute waterfront. We had an apartment with a fully equipped kitchen. The local super market is very close so we self catered breakfast and dinner for our entire stay.

Nice small village with great hospitality. Good views all round

Clean close to shops

A very pleasant stay at a modern well serviced motel. The welcoming drinks for our anniversary were really appreciated as was the cleanliness and overall comfort of the room itself.

Generously sized rooms and bathrooms. Rooms had been recently renovated.
