"An amazing stay in a beautiful house. Great views and the peacocks came by each day! The house is well stocked with everything you might need and host is lovely and responsive by phone. Would stay again!"

"NEGATIVES: 1. The ground incline was ridiculous for getting in & out of the car—4 times per trip. 2. When carrying bags, the raised pavers were potential ankle breakers, especially the two at the bottom of the stairs. 3. There was no railing or handgrip to assist you in getting up or down the stairs. 4. The nearest power point for a kettle was a metre above the bench & behind six glasses. 5. There was no shade over the front windows, so blinds had to be down until about 7 pm, hence no view. Nor was there a shade on the deck, and it couldn't be used until late. 6. The table & chairs on the deck were like toy chairs, useless. 7. The bed was too big for the space; you could only get in one side. 8. The cassette toilet was too small.On the plus side, the potential for stargazing is very good."

"This property is great for a weekend away from everything. Set on its own secluded land, surrounded by farmland and hills, its close enough to Wollombi town for convenience but far enough away to get the break you need."

"A beautiful, peaceful place to rest and re-energise. There's a great selection of DVDS, CDs and games. The beds are comfortable, the bathroom is modern and spacious, and the kitchen has most things that you'll need (an extra frypan would be helpful). It's a bit of a drive to get to places, but it's pleasant, scenic, and well worth being out of the hubbub. Wayne and Michelle are friendly and helpful and respond to messages instantly.We are already looking at dates to stay again! "

"The home was nice although the rooms slightly smaller than expected. It was quite rustic without some conveniences. Wifi is listed as an amenity however the connection is extremely unstable and unpredictable which meant we were not able to be contacted the entire time we were at the property. If we had known this in advance we would have been able to remedy the situation. The property management group only communicated this and other terms and conditions on the day of the stay. We found this to be too late and it would have been nice to know this information prior to booking and paying. The location of the property was perfect for the wedding we attended and the outlook from the property was lovely. "
