"Location worked very well for our needs. Location was a bit sketchy but we came across zero issues with the neighborhood. Room wasn’t perfect and could have been a little more clean as there was a dirty rag on the floor and the bed sheets/pillows had some questionable stains. Best New Subs across the street was delicious and worth stopping by. Keep in mind all amenities, bathrooms, kitchen, lounge areas are all shared spaces. Doors to the rooms could have been more secured with deadbolts."

"Look, this place itself isn't horrible, but it's not in a really good location. Heavy prostitution and drug dealing in the area leads to rooms that smell badly regardless of how much they clean them, and a neighborhood that is not the safest. The staff themselves are nice and helpful. The rooms are actually pretty nice. It's really noisy and if you can't sleep through it this hotel isn't for you. The road it sits on is busy all night long and you will hear it all night long."

"The staff was very helpful upon arrival and were there to assist as needed. The dormitory was clean and well maintained, with staff coming in daily to refresh linens and do laundry. I had a chance to chat with the manager of the hostile and he was very friendly and approachable. I was impressed with how respectful the other guests in the dorm were and would go back to STAY if I'm ever back in the area."

"Very clean and well maintained facility. Easy self check in and check out. About half a mile from two different train lines (blue & pink), so easy access to most of Chicago area. Some construction around the blue line station made that a little more challenging. Many restaurants, bakery, coffee shops in easy walking distance as well. Full kitchen was nice when we wanted to stay in, and the in-unit washer/dryer made unpredictable weather easier to pack for. Pay street parking is available, but we only needed it for a few hours when friends joined us for dinner. Definitely recommend!"

"This is the 4th time I've stayed at this hotel. It is always clean. The staff is courteous. And the bar has decently strong drinks. But the real draw for me and why I keep coming back is Steven. He works at the front desk. And each time I return and he is there, he greets me warmly as if we're old friends and I'm staying at his home. He makes the difference for me. Thanks Steven for your kindness and attention to detail!"
