"This Ryokan was amazing! It was doable on the trains though it i out of the way of major cities but that is the point. Very relaxing and the osen was amazing. Would recommend this to anyone wanting a traditional experience. Also the food was fantastic!! "

The onsen itself, is the best of the five that we experienced during our two weeks in Japan. The meals were exceptional as were the staff. "今回、8月12日身内に不幸ごとがあり、その3週間前から.危険な状態が続いていたので、7月末にキャンセルをしました。しかし、私のキャンセルのし忘れだったホテルがあったみたいで、ご迷惑をかけました。別のホテルは、こちらの状態を聞いていただき、本当にかかった経費だけの請求でしたが、こちらのホテルは、宿泊予定だった翌日のしかも朝の7時過ぎに電話一本で無愛想に連絡があり、こちらの状態も確認せず、全額払とてほしいとのことでした。年配の責任者でしたが、サービス業とは思えない対応と心配りに欠ける責任者でした。全額振込みましたが。もう二度と予約はしないです。"

"Staff were great, especially Yoko as she spoke English and was able to help with requests. One source of stress was having to pay in cash if you elect to pay at the accommodation. This should be made clear when booking. We would have happily paid by credit card in advance had it been made clear. No one from overseas carries that kind of cash. The ryokan should be encouraged to adjust their "rule" and take credit cards."

"We loved everything about this ryokan. We were greeted warmly and looked after perfectly. The hotel has a beautiful location and is very peaceful. Spotlessly clean. Spacious room. The food at both dinner and breakfast was just the best and being new to Japan we asked lots of questions and were helped to understand how the food was cooked and that the produce was local as were the recipes. Just delightful in every way. "

"良くも悪くも合宿所な感じ。 山やサイクリング、スキーとか、目的のはっきりしてる人のベースキャンプ的な存在です。 従業員の方の対応も丁寧でアットホームなだし、部屋も比較的清潔で、温泉も良い。かといってリゾート気分満載かといえば、そういう規模でも施設でもない。 夜の駐車場からも見える星空は何にも変えられないくらい素晴らしいし、それだけでも来る価値もある。 今回はなるべく安く済ませる意味で滞在。 基本満足です。"

"The house itself is beautiful but all around it is extremely badly taking care of. The yard is a mess, the grass high, and just next to some run down green houses. Some kind of a huge computer was making a terrible noise when we arrived, the owner allow us to turned it off thankfully. Could be a wonderful place to stay "
