"The staff was very welcoming and friendly! They did a great job helping a foreign traveler. The amenities were great - I appreciated they let you choose what you needed rather than overstock a room. The room was clean and cozy. The most amazing part was the onsite onsen. So relaxing and perfect after several days of traveling. "
"Incredible view and location, even without MT Fuji being visible during our trip.
I would appreciate if there were more signs for onsen etiquette. We only knew because of prior research.
Lots of spiders outside so unable to open the windows "
"Wonderful stay and a unique experience. Dinner in room and breakfast in banquet hall.
Traditional sleeping on tatami was surprisingly comfortable. Many staff are bilingual which made communication easy. And the hotel itself was in a quiet location overlooking the lake even though there were many tourists in the area. And a big thanks to our Nakai, Lisa who was a wonderful hostess"
"The property is all small condos and even ours being one of the smaller was extremely spacious. We loved the rooftop deck with a gorgeous view of Mt. Fuji. However, a couple things that we struggled with were the beds (one of the most uncomfortable I’ve ever tried to sleep on) and the very steep stairs which were a bit difficult to navigate. The staff were very helpful and they had a nice little store in the check in area where you can buy local snacks and specialty wine and beers. Also, the free shuttle to the bus stations was a nice bonus. "
