When is the best time to go to Foxfire?

The best times to visit Foxfire, Arizona, are during the spring (March to May) and autumn (September to November) when the weather is most pleasant for outdoor activities. During these seasons, the daytime temperatures are comfortably warm, typically ranging from 20°C to 30°C, making it ideal for exploring the desert landscape and enjoying the town's outdoor attractions without the intense heat of summer or the cooler evenings of winter. You'll find clear skies and plenty of sunshine, great for hiking, golf, or simply relaxing by a pool. Couples looking for a romantic getaway will appreciate the mild evenings in spring and autumn, great for dining outdoors or enjoying a sunset stroll. The desert scenery is particularly striking during these months, with wildflowers blooming in spring and the unique desert light in autumn. For those planning an active holiday, these shoulder seasons offer the best conditions for outdoor pursuits. The trails in the surrounding Foxfire Mountains are easily accessible and enjoyable for hiking or mountain biking, and the golf courses are in prime condition.

"Very convenient. Love the area"

Hyatt Place Phoenix / Downtown

8/10 Good

"We reserved a king bed room, turns out is no guarantee that you'll get the room you selected. They explained that there is nothing they can do. Very frustrating. The bathroom smelled of cigarette smoke. Otherwise the facilities were clean and modern. Breakfast was pretty good. We probably won't stay again."

"Even though our vehicle broke down on night one, we still had an excellent experience during our stay here. The staff was very friendly and attentive. Shout out to Jeff for helping us when our vehicle broke down. The property is well maintained, and the spa was excellent. We would stay here again for sure!"

Hilton Phoenix Resort at the Peak

10/10 Excellent

"This resort was super nice. It could very well be considered a hidden gem. Most if not all of the property has been remodeled. The rooms as well as landscaping. The room was very clean and neat. My room had wood flooring (which I prefer), a double headed shower & a full body mirror!!! Thats a plus for a woman! I also loved the floor plan. If you needed privacy within your room. Its possible. There was coffee, water, body wash (smelled amazing) shampoo, conditioner. They even had makeup wipes. The bed was super comfy. The property was quiet. Even with landscaping work being done. The staff were very pleasant and accommodating. I even had a property manager text me and ask about my stay so far. So very pleasant staff. There is a Starbucks & a bar area that also serves food in their Lobby. It’s a decent vibe if you want to just chill, have a drink (they have mocktails!) or grab a quick bite to eat. There is an onsite Spa and Gym. Which offers classes. This resort also has a water park located on the property. It has multiple pools, a lazy river, a pool bar and restaurant. If you stay at the resort. Entry is included in your booking. Definitely a plus. They have tons of chairs, umbrellas and tubes to use in the Lazy river. You can arrive at this resort and not have to leave. It has everything here. Now if you need or wanted to leave. It’s conveniently located within 15 minutes of everything. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and I will definitely stay again. Good Job Hilton!!!"

"The staff were friendly. The rooms were clean. The on site food was delicious. The negative part was the water slide not working during our stay. We specifically booked this hotel for the slide. Nobody ever emailed us or was it mentioned on the website that the slide would be down for repairs. My kids were disappointed."
