Great beach view

Stayed at the property for two weeks and was worth it. Very clean and organized rental. View from balcony was an amazing view of the ocean and the roof top pool was the perfect place to watch the sunset!

Beautiful ocean view

The condo was very clean. We were just steps from the beach and beach chairs at no cost. The view was beautiful and I enjoyed the sounds of the waves.

Great location, great condo, host allowed us to check in a little early which was a huge help since we had our pup with us and didn’t want to have to wait in the car for 2 hours. Clean, very quiet unit. Will definitely stay here again for future visits!

Loved Gulfside

We loved our stay at Gulfside. The location was great with the balcony overlooking the beach and gulf. The condo was well furnished and clean (except for the sand - you are on the beach). The overall complex is small which made for easy access to elevator, pool, workout room and beach. The unit is also pet friendly. We look forward to returning in the future.

Great Stay

Great location for a family vacation. If you want quiet, relaxing and no crowds this is the place. We had the pool to ourself for several days. Room was great. Everything worked appropriately. Bed and sofa bed were comfortable. Great view. Easy access. Only downside was parking. If you have a bigger vehicle (we have a Tahoe) then it can be a little snug parking under the building.

Super getaway

Condo was very clean and functional. We had no serious issues and would very much like to return again next year. The forecast rain for our entire stay was wrong and we ended up with two days of sunny, 70+ weather. Loved it and the sound of the ocean from the condo and the balcony.

Right on the ocean

Very attractive condo overlooking the ocean. The bed was comfortable, kitchen has everything (although I couldn’t find salt and pepper). My only complaint were the uncomfortable Adirondack chairs on the balcony. What I wouldn’t have given for a lounge chair!

Fort Walton Beach

The beach was beautiful, balcony view was amazing! However, Condo was terribly outdated. Furniture broken, stained and some had rips. Kitchen well equipped. Bathrooms needed new tile and paint. Elevator broken for first 4 days and had to use stairs. Air conditioner did not cool for half of our stay and repair company called twice. Management was very receptive and communicative. Condo just needs some updates because location is beautiful.

Perfect Location!

If you’re looking for a quiet, relaxing location with great Gulf views, this is it! The building has only a few units so easy access to the elevator and amenities. The condo was well appointed, very clean, bright and coastal. It literally offered everything we needed including extra paper towels, toilet paper, detergent, etc. This unit also comes with beach service which was a very nice perk The property manager is extremely responsive and answered questions quickly. Parking was not an issue. Best of all the building was dog friendly and our fur babies had a great time. Only caveat is the TV platform is a ROKU streaming service. Most people will spend their time outside- I get it. But if you are visiting during a time where live sports are a big deal (March Madness, NBA/NFL Playoffs) you will have to log into multiple services to make it work. Literally that was our only hiccup. Everything else was immaculate. Will definitely return!

Hidden Gem

Loved our stay! Don't be put off by the decor, everything is very comfortable and functional. We spent more time on the beach or at the top pool. We found the top pool to have the most exceptional panoramic view and incredible breezes. It was great to take a dip, cool off and then lay in the sun to dry off. The beach was gorgeous! The sand did have a bit of seaweed gathered on the shore and it was laying out in the sun. As it dried, it did give a bit of an odor. We are used to the City or County raking up the seaweed every morning, so this was a bit of a surprise. However, if you arrived to get your seating by 10am, you could choose a spot that didn't have much around and it was extremely enjoyable. Drinking coffee on the patio provided a great start to our days while we watched the fish play in the water and the birds dive to catch the fish. Some dolphins were visible in the distance and it was just lovely with the breeze. The king size bed was firm and comfortable, towels were plush and the kitchen pots / pans were great. The blackout curtains made for a great cool in the afternoons and our bedroom was always nice and dark for great sleeping. Close to shopping and wonderful local restaurants. Everyone should check out Fokkers and Stewbys. Can't wait to get back there again!

So Much Deferred Maintenance!

This condo has a beautiful view & was clean when I arrived. It is pet friendly, which is nice. That's the good news. The bad news is there is a tremendous amount of deferred maintenance on the unit. The red chairs in the primary bedroom either need to be covered with slip covers or hauled off to the dump. The bedside lamp has big chips in it and the lampshade is stuck in a crooked position. The mattress is comfortable but on the softer side. In the primary bath-the sink is slow to drain (it's pretty gross), the toilet paper holder wobbles, the casing for the fire sprinkler is missing, there are scratch marks on the molding, the hair dryer is cracked, the towels are old & feel like sandpaper. The primary bathroom ceilings are maybe 7 feet so anyone who is tall is going to feel uncomfortable in the bathroom. The bottom of the shower head is maybe at 5'10" so again, someone who is tall is going to have a hard time showering in the primary bathroom. Both bathrooms are tub/showers. I had to turn off the lights to be able to dry my hair as the electrical outlet kept tripping. Throughout the unit, baseboards have detached from the walls, cracks are everywhere that need to be caulked. In the guest bathroom, the toilet wobbles. The kitchen is okay & is well stocked. In the living room, the glass door only closes if you place the dowel behind it and the backing of the curtains is coming off. The wifi constantly goes in and out and the elevator works when it wants to work.

They called and canceled 24 hours before our stay. Very short notice we had already paid. They refunded our money. Did offer a different place but would not have been ocean front so we declined.
