This one-bedroom, two-bathroom condo includes a private high-floor balcony, with an incredible view overlooking the Lazy River, pools, and Choctawhatchee Bay. The suite is freshly painted and newly redecorated with a modern flair, providing a beautiful backdrop for the perfect Gulf Coast vacation.

Our vacation rental sleeps six and includes an ensuite Master Bedroom and Bath with a comfortable king-size bed, plenty of storage and a Smart TV, a bunk room with an adjoining bathroom, and a spacious Living/Dining area complete with a queen size sleeper/sofa, Smart TV and cozy fire console, along with a full kitchen, breakfast bar, and dining area and in-suite washer/dryer.

Would Recommend & Return

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall great experience! Front Desk and other staff were very helpful and friendly. Late check-in was easy.Would have been good to have the wifi and TV instructions in the room. Master bathtub drain was stopped up, we treated w/ Drain-o and reported to Front Desk. Not sure maintenance ever came, but drain was fine after using the Drain-0.Signage to beach (specifically elevators & ramps) could be better. Beach space was very crowded w/ Resort UMBRELLAS, UGH that was frustrating. Had walk 1/4 mile with all our gear just to see the water. Unit was clean and had everything we needed, plenty of towels, etc. Quiet hours were followed, no noise between units and outside it was peaceful.

Quiet and Restful with a Return in Future

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 5th visit and we love staying at the resort. It is mostly quiet and a couple, or family, can feel safe and enjoy a vacation with your needs taken into consideration from resort for a vacation.This condo: We felt small details could assist in our visit, such as directions to the four remotes to one tv in living room but tv in bedroom was easy to watch local channels. There were no extra pillows to use to sleep on couch bed, if needed. The thin white curtains in master bedroom are pretty but light from main walkway created more light & noise in bedroom than expected. The decor is updated but needed dusted. The master bath had a clog that kept water from draining but this could be fixed. The outside cushions on deck were molded and dirty but we managed since end of summer season for unit. It is a recommendation that more than two garbage bags should be provided with extra space for groceries in one cabinet, if kitchen is to be used more efficiently for cooking; however, The kitchen was very clean and updated. The resort: Landscaping was neat and maintained well, Lazy river needed cleaning but maintenance to shrubbery did created the problem that will be solved, directions for weight room, arm bands, lazy river and dock for resort are exceptional. The walkway to cross over the street to ocean or to lazy river is exceptional. It would be nice if there was a space near pool or lazy river for water, snacks or tea instead of an office in a small refrigerator. The pool bars are very popular now and would be a great update to this resort. Watching people bring food and drinks to pools and lazy river shows that this could bring more income and employment to resort. We appreciate hospitality and recommend thie resort highly. Everyone was polite and respectful. We love that it is close to multiple restaurants and entertainment.

Nice condo/resort - mold in bedroom

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 3rd year staying at this resort but first in this condo. Overall the condo was nice and in good shape. However, I noticed a significant mold infestation in the ceiling of the main bedroom and bathroom. I would highly reconsider staying in this until until this issue has been addressed.

I want to start off by saying, we love Destin West.We have stayed here before in different condos. The property was as described on the site. However, there were lots of issues. There were 5 of us total staying, 3 Adults & 2 teenagers. We stayed for 5 nights, 6 daysThe issues were-There were only 3 towels, 3 rags and 2 hand towels total in the condo bathrooms.This put us having to wash these everyday.No beach towels (some other units provide beach towels).The beach towels are not a huge issue, but the bath towels def-The A/C thermostat has a lockbox on it so you cannot adjust temperature.In addition, we were burning up in the condo until our last 2 nights.Temp was at least 80 in there.Found out on 4th nght all vents were closed except 2.Had to buy 3 fans at the store just to make it bearable. 1 guest slept on balcony couch bc of temp!-Master bed is extremely uncomfortable. Had to buy 3" mattress topper after first night.Feels just like a pull out sofa-Mold all on ceiling in master-Ice maker making a loud noise on and off and would not dispense ice.Had to open freezer and dig ice outThere were some positives about this condo,but unfortunately the issues we had are non-negotiables for usThey only give you 1500 characters to type review so I'm limited. Otherwise,I would elaborate a little moreWe do not recommend this condo based off of our experience.I hope others that have stayed do not have a bad experience as we did.The previous reviews I read were very misleading

Terrible Customer Service

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The check-in process and our initial impression of the property and the condo couldn’t have been better. It was clean, with easy access to the lazy river. This is important to us as we don’t even venture to the beach; we are river rats. Well, after waking up hot the first night, I realized we couldn’t control the thermostat without a pin. No big deal right? We asked the front desk if they could contact the condo owners (the Sotos) and turn down the temperature to 72 instead of 76 with 80% humidity. Nothing changed. Asked again the next day... nothing. 72 degrees isn’t unreasonable. I have no idea why they couldn’t accommodate that. Fast forward to our last day... Hurricane Ida was to make landfall on the day of our departure. We live in Mississippi, so I asked if we could check out one day early in order to get ahead of the CATEGORY 4 hurricane that we’d be driving into. The girl at the front desk assured me she would get back to me. Crickets. I asked again later... crickets. She said she emailed someone and they’d reach out that day. I still haven’t heard back and we were charged for the night even though we left early and headed inland to avoid a major hurricane. It’s really a shame because we thought the location was good, the river was awesome, and we make these 4-5 day escapes several times a year and thought we’d found a new spot. I just can’t fathom coming back.

Great Condo with a beautiful view of the bay and lazy river

We enjoyed our stay, nice cozy little condo with beautiful views. Short walk to the beach, walkover bridge to private beach access for the resort,. which is close to a beach bar, the pier, & boardwalk. Lots of pools, hot tubs, & a lazy river to choose from if you’re bored with the ocean. The cleaning crew could be more thorough, pull out bed mattress cover was dirty & needed to be changed. I just put extra sheets over it & didn’t complain! Pull out mattress could use some updating, a little tough to sleep on for a week! We had a problem with the refrigerator on the last day of our stay, making a loud super annoying noise. It took several call to maintenance to get it taken care of. They came each time but said they really could do anything unless it was making the noise while they were there, it literally started making the noise & didn’t stop after they left & it took quite a while and an extra phone call to get it taken care of. No fault of the owners though, I didn’t even mention the problem to them or anyone other than the resort workers. All was good after the last maintenance call though! All employees on the resort are super friendly as well!! Great atmosphere!

A very nice and safe place to stay with family

This unit was very clean with a nice balcony view of the lazy river. The pool area was monitored with arm bands so very safe. The property is located right on the main strip with lots of restaurants nearby. Ricks on the Island is right next door (walking distance) and has amazing food, live music and the best staff. We had our adult child and two tweens with us so we probably needed a bigger unit. This unit fit all of us but with older kids they wanted a little more privacy and space. Walking to the beach was very convenient. We had a great time!

We had lots of fun!

We had a great time. Lots of fun stuff for the kids to do. We did find a cockroach in our kitchen the day before we left which kind of put a damper on the fun. After looking for more I did notice under the beds wasn't cleaned before we came in but overall was pretty clean. I did call the office about the cockroach and was told my message would be passed along to the correct people but I never got a call back.

Perfect spot!

This condo was perfect for our family of four! The place was very clean, smelled good! The property is very clean and the groundsmen seem to take a lot of pride in that! The balcony was superb! It overlooks the pool and the outdoor furniture was better than the other condos! It is just a short walk to the beach. Really appreciate the covered overpass as traffic is very thick on the roads. The kids loved the pool and the lazy river! The staff are very good about making sure only guests are allowed in the pool area. The kitchen is very well stocked with all cookware and dishes. The coffee pot is a little confusing on how to use. We definitely will be staying at this condo again!

Best rental hands down

The balcony alone is worth the money. Amazing view. Walking distance to the beach with multiple pool access. Lazy river was great and the pool was great for the kids.

Loved our room. Perfect for our family of 4!

We loved all the amenities the resort had to offer. The kids loved the beach, splash pad, lazy river, and the pools. The zero entry pool was a hit with our kids because they could walk around independently. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because the resort is very spread out. Not ideal for carting young kids around. We had to take 3 different elevators to get to the beach in addition to crossing the bridge over the highway. Otherwise our stay was awesome!

Fun in the sun

The Morgan family really enjoyed your property. The décor was really nice; and your place was clean. The view was outstanding. We called at the last minute and the owner's was nice enough to give us a discount. I know it's better to have someone in your place than not; but the gestor did not go in-noticed. We will definitely come back. I would suggest in having some dishwashing liquid.

Beautifully maintained resort with all the amenities!

My husband and I escaped here for an adult only trip and we were immediately impressed with the resort as a whole and the unit. From the lazy river pool area, beach side pools which included access to the adjacent Ramada pools- plural, and the complimentary beach service with our unit we wanted for nothing! The unit was very clean and fully stocked. If I had to find something to critique it would be the mattress. But full disclaimer we are used to expensive memory foam and feather toppers :). We will DEFINITELY stay here again very soon!!
