"We only stayed for 2 nights and the weather/our travel plans prevented us exploring the area but Stones throw was a perfect spot to relax in front of the fire with family listening to the storms and winds battering the coastline. It has certainly left us with an invitation to return to this beautiful area for more than a couple nights. The home was just that, homely and warm with all you needed for a comfortable stay. "Perfectly situated in battery point close to restaurants, pubs and bakeries. Walking distance to Salamanca, sandy point and city. Well equipped kitchen and delicious welcome fruit, cheese and chocolate platter. Loved our stay"

"Lovely comfortable home stocked with everything and more"

"The house was beautiful, great views. Only down side was it gets very hot on warm days with only a split system on the middle floor we had to buy a fan and its needs a big comfy lounge to lay back on with foot rests after long days out walking. Over all our stay was great and the kitchen had all we needed for 7 of us"

"The house was neat, quiet, tidy and clean. I did notice that the hot water did seem to be timed. Occasionally we had to wait for the hot water to heat up, if a few of us were having baths or showers. This was after one or two of us had used the shower or bath. We noticed that the property didn't have an ironing board. There was an iron though. Otherwise it was a great, quiet and comfortable place to stay."

"Fantastic location. Easy walk to waterfront and city attractions. Friendly, helpful staff. Room quiet despite being on a busy thoroughfare. Airport Skybus stops just out the front. Would have loved a coffee machine. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Hobart."

"St. Ives is so quiet, beds are soooo comfy, staff great, it's clean, quiet and not overpriced and the shower is the best. There are plenty of mirrors in the apartment plus toaster, kettle, etc. Its on Point! Highly recommended 👌 "
