Very clean and attractive place in a great location near the bus station. Communication with the host was excellent and everything went smoothly. We really liked staying here and would happily return.

The property is about a 10 minute brisk walk from the Florence Train station (Firenze Santa Maria Novella), and 6 minutes from the local tourist bus station (Piazzale Montelungo). You have to carry your luggage up about 30 steps if you take the shorter route from the train station. There was a nice Halal restaurant 5 doors left on Via Del Romito. There is free "coffee" and water in the lobby. There was no host present but he was very responsive to messaging. The bed was comfortable. The shower was small. The water was decently hot with 'ok' pressure. We spent most of our time on day-trips or guided tours so didn't explore the area much. There is also a local-bus terminal about 5 minutes away (in front of the Giardino della Fortezza, if you want to get back there from some adventure elsewhere in Florence.

The property is very nice but the check in was not good. No instruction whatsoever and the door required the code to get in. I had to contact Expedia to get the info to get in. We had to stand outside in the rain 30-60 minutes.
