I stayed only one night , but I can say that the room was so good and clean, the person at the reception was very nice and available, the hotel position is very close bay to the train station that in the center well served by taxis and buses. Very good international breakfast

I stayed for a few weeks. It was very comfortable and everyone was accommodating. I loved having a little kitchen to keep food and prepare simple food. Nice products and breakfast. I will stay here next time I’m in Florence.

This hotel is a hidden gem in Florence. We celebrated my 60th birthday. If bespoke and boutique is your favourite hotel choice, Riva Lofts is a wonderful choice. Leafy green gardens to rest under and a beautiful pool to cool off in during the hot Italian summer. The tram from the main train station only €1.70 and three stops to the hotel - super easy to get to and from.

Wonderful stay

Even before we arrived, Veronica, our host, contacted me to inquire about our arrival. She gave us excellent directions and was waiting for us, in the pouring rain!, to direct us to the parking, have our luggage taken care of and guide us to the loft. She is the most helpful, friendly and caring host we have ever had the chance to interact with on our travels. She made us feel welcome, showed us around the property, and helped us plan our stay in Cinque Terre. She even helped us reserve the restaurant we wanted to eat at in the evening. The loft is beautiful, with a jacuzzi and a sauna! Very conveniently located in Riomagiorre. And the breakfast the next morning was heavenly. Veronica brought dish after dish of delicious food, croissants, eggs, crepes, fruit, whatever we wished for. Overall, this experience was one of the best we ever had.

Exceptional!! The two bedroom, two bath loft was absolutely amazing. Immaculate. Gorgeous. The grounds are beautiful and so is the pool. Staff was super friendly. They helped with taxis and guided us on what to see and how to get there. The continental breakfast was delicious. The property is in a quiet neighborhood, which is a nice respite from the hustle n bustle of downtown. The tram that takes you into the historic center is only a few minutes walk, very convenient. I can't say enough how much we loved this place. We want to return asap!

It was a great stay but unfortunately I left in a hurry to get to the rental car and dropped a small ziplock with credit card, health insurance card and $500 in various currencies. As soon as I noticed that evening I called and then emailed the hotel. I didn't hear back at all. When I called again halfway through the conversation the staff person hung up on me. It negatively impacted my memory which had been so great! Dinner and breakfast were very nice.

The place is nice however there are few disappointing conditions First is is pretty far from the center contrary to what is written it takes half an hour in public transportation to get to the center, which means at least an hour a day and if you want to come and go it is more cumbersome Second the staff is not available. In the evening there’s no one to answer, not even on the phone. The room itself is clean and well kept but there isn’t enough light , which makes it difficult and uncomfortable. The yard and the pool are very nice and welcoming and if you are looking for some getaway from the crowded city it is really nice. As for the breakfast it varies on different days, on one day it was very slim on the second much reacher.

The property was interesting and located away from the center of Florence (a plus). Nice pool and bar. Pleasant staff. The breakfast was completely inadequate and sad— almost nothing to choose from (and for 300 a night you would expect considerably more… ).

The facility is very modern, tasteful and well kept. The common lounge/breakfast room is super comfortable and the staff (particularly Sara and Elenora, who I dealt with) were very friendly capable and helpful. I would hire either of them in a second. The breakfast (included with the room) had many options and were fresh and tasty. When you approach this place, it seems rather out of the way, but the tram station into town in a block away and access to the city center was actually pretty easy. The one limitation is the lack of nearby restaurants. There is a fantastic pastry shop a block away, but restaurants for dinner require a 15-20 minute walk - manageable, but not great. All- in-all, we enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to go back.

Escapade à Pisa et Florence

Hôtel proche du tram qui vous emmène en quelques minutes à Florence au centre ville ( arrêt gare ) et depuis là vous avez la ville à vous. Personnel sympa, chambre vraiment grande et agréable , lieu pour le petit déjeuner très atypique et pittoresque. Nous n’avons pas profité de la piscine un peu frisquets. 3 places de parcs devant l’hotel ou d’autres proche de qq mètres.

Cool architect hotel with swimming pool for warmer days. The staff is extremely helpful, especially with helping to book restaurants etc. A bit self service during daytime in the dining room, u can have fruit and croissants and beverages and just write it done in their notebook. You can’t have lunch or dinner there, so be prepared to go in to city center for that.

Good: Very nice decoration, good cleaning work everyday. Good bed. Very nice reception. Very convenient to have bikes with baby seat! Not so good: If have washing machine it'll be perfect. Quality of breakfast could be better. Things for kitchenette are very very limited. Parking space limited, only 3, almost always full, so had to park on the street.
