We stayed on the ground floor to the back of the property, which gives you extra outdoor space. Beautiful character and very peaceful. 5-10 mins walk to the Duomo and in a vibrant neighbourhood. The roof terrace for breakfast was exellent and the views were sublime. Highly reccomend.

What a delightful traditional style property, located through a courtyard hidden behind beautiful, wooden doors. Chose this for the character and the roof top terrace for breakfast which had amazing views across to the Duomo. We were upgraded to a larger room, was a little dark however not a real issue as lots of space. Breakfast was adequate but view from rooftop more than made up for this.

Very friendly and helpful staff on Reception. Old palazzo charm - lovely views from terraces. Room size and bathroom size both fine - shower could be a bit hit and miss with temp but manageable. Plumbing is quite loud especially when other rooms use flushes/showers late at night (and why must people slam doors?!) Good variety at breakfast. Location also good as 10mins to Duomo & 20 mins to train station. Definitely recommend.

This is a very cool hotel and we enjoyed our time in Florence. The only thing is there was no air conditioning. It worked for a few hours but then only blew hot air. We did not try to reach customer service about the issue but I’m sure they would have helped if we did. I read there were A/C regulations that did not allow for it to be turned on until April 15th, so I didn’t bother to ask about it. We did open the window but there was so much noise outside that it wasn’t a feasible solution since the window was at the same height if not a little lower than the bed and right next to it, we couldn’t get away from the sound. The breakfast was delicious and the rooftop terrace was gorgeous. And great area. Florence is very walkable.

My daughter needed a place to stay for an evening. I was able to book this great place from the United States, on line. Amazing Stay & View in Florence

Wonderful and charming stay in one of the less touristy areas of the city. Very central location and the hotel has a certain charm to it. Staff was friendly and breakfast was good. The best part about it is the balcony / roof by the lobby. It has an excellent view. Good AC in the rooms (and it was HOT)
