A relatively inexpensive place to stay in Florence that provides everything you need. We especially liked the mattress! It’s about a 15 minute stroll to the Piazza del Duomo, which can also be reached via the tram. Don’t try to pull the front door to the street closed! It really will close by itself…eventually.

We had a lovely stay here. We were looking for a budget friendly but close to the centre hotel. This hotel is only a 25 min walk to the centre (in a straight line). It has the Italian charm of being in an old building and through a maze of doors. The room also had that Italian charm. Basic, well loved and small but had everything we needed including a kettle. There a shops nearby and a few bars too. Very close to the tram stop for getting to and from the train station. Staff were lovely and communication was good.
