Charming B&B with lovely owner!
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Casa Schlatter B&B. I was looking for a place to stay that was not in a touristy area and offered something unique. As mentioned in previous reviews, Casa Schlatter is incredibly charming, with original artwork throughout the house. What makes it extra special is the owner, Alessandra, and her adorable little dog, Fiona (FiFi). Alessandra was very warm and welcoming. She took the time to answer all of my questions and offered great recommendations. If you choose to have breakfast, the croissants are homemade and delicious. I enjoy walking and was able to explore the city on foot during my stay, although some people may wish to take the bus or taxi. My room faced the front and was very quiet. I would definitely stay at Casa Schlatter again should I ever return to Florence!
