"The room was clean and comfortable, and the location was fantastic. Restaurants and shops were just a short walk away, making it very convenient. The amenities were good, and having a laundry room on-site was a definite plus. Shared kitchen was clean. Overall, a wonderful place to stay!"

"After sleeping in a van for a few nights, this place was the BEST. In the United States, ‘motel’ means cheap and maybe a little gross, but this place felt cleaner than most hotels and had such useful kitchenettes in the rooms. Best warm shower and heated blankets. I’m honestly disappointed we couldn’t spend another night!"

"We got in late and the hotel accommodated us and had everything ready. And then when I forgot an item in the room the hotel had it easy for us to pick up at a later time. Would definitely recommend and stay there again."

A beautiful experience first class service , first class meals . We even scored a free upgrade where the teenagers had a room to themselves.
So much to see , had a spa in the hot tub late at night and the tranquility was absolutely amazing
Recommend a stay on the overnight cruise

Awesome place if you’re out these ways. Philippa and Rob are amazing hosts. We got a garden view room with a lovely view. Convenient location. The hosts let us park at theirs while we were on the overnight cruise in Doubtful Sound. Breakfast was included and it was a clocked breakfast. Will definitely stay again

Stunning place to stay. Really comfortable clean rooms, most epic view, log cabin vibes. Will definitely come from Aussie again to stay here and have already told my friends to stay too

Motel situated a block off the Lake and walking distance to town is 10 minutes. There is a walkway through to Lake. Motel is clean, kitchen facilities are basic but sufficient. Plenty of coffee and tea provided. Bikes and BBQ's available and there is also a coin operated laundry. $4 wash and $4 dryer. Car parks a little narrow but overall a good place to stay

Great location right on the waters the cabins were very clean.
It is an additional charge to use the spa and it needs to be booked (might be useful if they tell you this information when you check in). Would recommend

We stayed for one night. Looked & felt new, beds were really comfy and shower pressure was amazing. Cafes, restaurants & golf cour are all about a 5min drive.
Wi-Fi signal was non-existant in the room so we had to stand outside to use it. A couple extra pillows would have been great. The fridges are tiny so can't fit much in them.
Overall, fantastic place and would gladly stay again.
