"Very nice hotel, great amenities, room was very nice with a nice view. Was there for a wedding and food was very nice. In the morning- the cafe was short staff and the queue was very long just for a coffee so we went off somewhere else. In general- great location and accommodation "

"The hotel is a beautiful, well-preserved colonial building. Although the rooms don't have private bathrooms, they are well-equipped and the shared facilities are very clean. There is no AC, but the heater and electric blankets work perfectly. All the staff were very polite and helpful.. we even had a lovely "little princess" take our keys when we checked out. The restaurant food was simply wonderful, the best we had during our entire trip."

"Easy parking, swift check in."

"Parking was fine. Elevator was broken so had to use the stairs which are steep. Got told to move to garden to continue on my phone call and i was talking quietly too and no one was around. They said due to guests in the room at ground level which there is a bench seat outside in front of that window. Maybe move bench if people cant sit and talk there. "

"I cannot understand the 4 stars rating on Expedia (it’s rather a 2*: converted house with a few rooms to rent). The cleanliness is inconsistent. The good: very clean bedsheets and towels, no smell. Low price. Parking included. The bad: ingrained dust in the bathroom ledge of tiles, sticky grime on power switches, fridge door, doors and night tables. Basically on everything people normally touch. The bathroom is small, with a minuscule sink. I would never recommend it to anyone."
