Lovely new building. Fantastic apartment, great location. We were very impressed.

I was greeted with a friendly smile and that theme continued throughout my two night stay. Having to catch up on some business was made very easy with access to high speed internet without the need to purchase or log in to a third party. Very comfortable and clean - very good value for money in my opinion.

Fantastic staff! Couldn't be more helpful. Offered milk, muffins and chocolates upon arrival. Great place to stay for families who don't want the noise in town as its 5 mins out of Ballarat. Rooms are dated but clean and comfortable. Very reasonably priced to stay.

Only stayed for one night but room was great and the staff friendly and extremely helpful and friendly. Would definitely stay there again next time we are in Ballarat.

Delightful little hotel

The staff at Oscar's are the most helpful i have ever encountered nothing was to much trouble . Rooms very comfortable, dinning was very nice and drinks very cold. Will be recommending Oscar's to everyone..Thank you for making our weekend so enjoyable.

Great spot for a family visiting Sovereign Hill to stay. We walked there easily with 2 kids. Great amenities for families.

I travel a great deal for work, so stay regularly at Hotels. The Novotel Forest Resort was one of the best I have been too! Booked at the last minute (day before stay) and with a special request for ground floor as my child was in a wheel chair, we arrived to the most spacious room with disability railing and shower chair in the bathroom alongside a two person spa. We thoroughly enjoyed our sumptuous period room which really made our weekend. The central location with convenient car parking close to the lift, together with The Lane Restaurant nearby made it easy for me to get around while on crutches. We had a great weekend.

The location was perfect and the hotel is cute and quaint with everything we needed. Would stay there again!
