"General area was run down outside the hotel and the hotel was a little run down as well"

"Great hotel with lots of amenities, well stocked bar, and great breakfast buffet. The only downside was the room was quite compact, and we stayed 2 nights and didn’t get fresh towels etc during our stay."

"Staff were good. Poor nights sleep though as the room we had on the upper floor was far too hot and uncomfortable to sleep in ( not sure how people cope in summer as it was 10 degrees outside) . No other rooms available as there was a wedding going on at the hotel .They had already provided a fan in the room ( so they must know about the issue) which we had to use all night as well as keep the Juliette balcony door open. Food in the restaurant was ok but service and staff were very good. Leaving disappointed , especially given the cost of the room. "

"Breakfast was Luke warm / not much bread left for toast as I assumed that most items were consumed by an overnight coach tour party staying overnight with earlyish departure. One staff member on duty probably having to cover for restaurant In the room which was ok the only problem was when you empty the wash basin the waste water came up the bath plug hole"

"Lots of free parking. Great location for local shops and easy access to town center. Fantastic staff, all very friendly and helpful, even sorted a taxi for us at short notice. Room clean and comfortable. Fridge, microwave, crockery and cutlery, hairdryer all in room. "
