"This little cabin was perfect! You can see the main house from the driveway and front door, but with the direction of the home and an umbrella, you feel like you're all by yourself in the woods. There are some pups, but they were well behaved and didn't come around often. This is a great little cabin—perfect for a 2 person get-away—with all the amenities you will need. The room it’s very quiet and cozy, with plenty of towels and small fridge and microwave. Close to Safeway and the best views of Lake Tahoe. I would come back. "A nice and more affordable option for those visiting North Lake Tahoe. The Granlibakken has an old-school Tahoe vibe, which can be both charming and dated. This particular room, while checking all the boxes, definitely has a bit of "staying the night at Grandma's house) vibe. Furniture is fully functional, but could use an upgrade. Overall, would stay again for the price, but would enjoy it more with a little refresh."
