"Room was really awful. I really wish I had gotten a taxi home in retrospect, rather than staying the night. The hotel owner was thoughtful, and did give advice on checking in after 10 pm, which was helpful. But the accommodation itself is just so unpleasant. Really strong smell of smoke, room is extremely cold and the electric heater is broken (it does turn on, but I have tried multiple settings and it won't produce heat). "This was a visit to this beautiful city to catch up with friends for food, beers and good company. There is certainly a lot of places to eat and drink nearby along the river and the hotel was only a 10 minute walk from the Cathedral quarter and 15 minutes from the hustle and bustle of the city itself. "It was a really lovely hotel and seemed clean, although very dusty on the bed frame and window blinds. The bathroom was clean but had a rusty toilet roll holder that needed to be replaced. Great location as only a short walk to the City centre. Overall, I would stay there again. "

"Single room for 1 night, a bit cosy but the price was unbeatable. Quiet, clean, comfy bed, good shower amenities, easy parking, polite staff, good wifi. Only improvement I can suggest is to put a darker curtain as quite a bit of light goes through during summer."
