1. Fabulous 5 bed house with indoor swimming pool and hot tub in 1066 Country

Windmill Hill, Hailsham

"This wonderful house has been well modified and offers an exceptional vacation experience. It has a true home from home comfort. Two lounges. one boasting a red telephone box and the other with an amazing LG 85" TV with Sky services. The pool is large, very well maintained with the water heated and crystal clear. The three of us, including our 14 year old grandson, had a blissful 8 nights which he spent hours in the top end hot tub located in a secluded corner of the huge gardens. Like all...

Cavendish Hotel

8/10 Good

"Quick overnight stay, hotel well placed for Sunday afternoon on the Pier and close to the Congress Theatre for my evening concert, likewist 15 odd min walk from Eastbourne Train Station, Stff very helpful, bed room reasonale size with large bathroom (with bath). Coffee/ tea etc in room. Room nice and warm overnight (didn't try T.V. but used the fridge). Will definately book there again if a concert comes up."

Marine Parade Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"The rooms are clean and comfortable, with everything I need. It's a few minutes walk into the town centre but is also right on the beach front a few minutes walk from the pier. Most of the bathrooms have showers with HUGE shower heads which are great. It's obviously in the process of a refurb so, yes, parts of it do look a bit run down - that doesn't impact the comfort of the rooms so don't be put off by that. The staff are lovely and go out of their way to be helpful. I stay in Eastbourne a lot for work. I always book The Marine Parade when it's available. It's very good value for the price. I highly recommend it."

The Chatsworth Hotel

8/10 Good

"The hotel’s location was excellent, right in the town centre and next to the sea. The staff were also very friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. The breakfast was very good, with a great choice of both hot and continental options. The room was spacious and a good size, but unfortunately, it was not well maintained. It looked like the room had not been decorated or properly maintained for quite some time and would definitely benefit from some refurbishment. The bathroom was one of the highlights, as it was spacious and had both a bathtub and a shower, giving you the option of either. Although the hotel is rated as a 4-star hotel, based on my experience, I would rate it closer to 3 stars. The excellent location, friendly staff, good breakfast and spacious bathroom were all positives, but the overall condition and maintenance of the room let the hotel down."

The Lookout Rye

8/10 Good

"Great find in Rye! Room number 4 had balcony looking over car park which was better than it sounds….peaceful, secluded and surrounded by trees. Balcony needs attention but this didn’t detract from the lovely room. Staff smiley and helpful. Loved the bar outside to watch the world go by. Great breakfast which was cooked to order and dining room a pleasant space. Great location for sightseeing."

Ashdown Park Hotel & Country Club

10/10 Excellent

"Had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The team of staff are brilliant - passionate about providing the perfect level of care and attention. Attentive, helpful and courteous they really went out of their way to make guests feel welcome and content. Our room was fabulous - it had everything we needed to enjoy our stay and beautifully decorated. The bed was very comfortable, we slept so well. It was quite a warm day so the fan in the room was welcome. Set in the East Wing we were away from the main house, which was perfect as we had our dog with us. He had a little welcome pack, which was a nice touch. He loved the grounds as did we."
