"Lovely cottage full of character. Lots of thoughtful touches such as shower gel, shampoo and kitchen essentials and the owner responded promptly to all our queries. The garden was an added bonus in the hot weather. Only two minor criticisms - firstly it wasn’t clear from the description that the bathroom (and therefore the only toilet) were on the ground floor. "If you love a peaceful country retreat then this is for you. Wildlife all around. The owner could not be more helpful. Peacocks at the back door herds of dear and flocks of amazing rheas much better than advertised. You do need a car with good clearance for the track through the forest but it's worth it as it all ads to the amazing adventure. Thank you once again to our host Martin who meets guests at the gate to lead you through the forest."
