"The stable was much bigger than the photos show & was veer clean & spacious with everything to hand. The owners Jan & Nick have thought of everything. The garden & woods are lovely, we were lucky to be there with the bluebells in full bloom. Enjoyed seeing all the animals including horses, rabbits, squirrels & lots of different birds. The stars are amazing when the night sky is clear. Lots of places to visit, we went to Rye, Hastings, Canterbury & Bodiam Castle."

"We had a great stay and really enjoyed the tennis court and the main living space at Hollyoak Sanctuary. The weather didnt cooperate so we didnt use the outside space as much as we wanted to but it was fabulous and would be great in better weather. The property manager was very receptive in answering questions and was flexible meeting our requests. Kitchen well equipped and bedrooms were great. Very dog friendly which we loved and a nice circular walk straight from the drive or back garden...

"We spent 3 nights in this lovely cottage within the country Park, the cottage is incredibly well equipped in the kitchen , the views are amazing, all the way along the coast, Pett levels, Rye, Camber sands, Dungeness and in one particularly clear night France! Karen responded to queries immediately and was an excellent host. I certainly recommend this cottage."

"That's what we called it - the house of the seven dwarfs. However, don't be held back by the "dwarf" part - it's not tiny! It is just extremely cosy, cute, and elegant. Vintage, yet certainly not outworn. An extremely pleasant experience for those like us, coming from the modernism of the city who want to find some peace, quietness and family-feeling. "This is a well equipped cottage which is in a rural position on the edge of the town, accessed by a short but unlit lane. It is a 15 minute walk into the High Street and there are plenty of countryside walks from the doorstep."

"There are 2 sides to this review. The down sides were unfortunately the property was not clean enough. The remote controls, light switches, kitchen cupboards etc. were very dirty (all the areas where covid would be rife). I had to clean some of these myself. Also there was a cheese wrapper in the bedroom and lego on the dining chair which says to me it wasn't cleaned thoroughly. Also the tray in the microwave had crusted food on it so I had to wash that up before use. The blind in the lounge is...

"We enjoyed a lovely 12 night stay at the Dairy. It is beautifully furnished with a very comfortable bed and lovely patio. We had amazing weather and enjoyed many days out cycling and visiting National Trust properties as well as the coast. It’s not walking distance to any amenities really but was very peaceful and a great base for sightseeing in a beautiful part of the country."
