Lovely area of UK ,great old character building close to a great variety of dining locations and bars

The star attraction was the deck Overlooking the river, bird life cool breezes lovely place to eat.

We booked this as somewhere reasonably close to stay on the way to take a ship out of Southampton. What luck! A very comfortable large room, excellent king size bed, double doors that open onto a large grassy area. Flat screen TV and FREE wi fi!! The value for money brilliant. Staff young and enthusiastic. Menu to suit everyone at surprisingly low prices. Very good full breakfast. Large public restaurant and lounge but broken up into smaller areas to stay cosy. Plenty of parking. We loved it and...

Nice clean and spacious room and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

We had the most amazing stay at the Clarence for 4 nights. Karen and Richard were exceptional hosts with hospitality second to no-one. The cooked to order breakfasts were outstanding and the accomodation was immaculate with attention to detail at every corner. We would highly recommend The Clarence.

Olde worlde charm in a bustling country town

A gorgeous thatched pub in a lovely little village. Great staff, very comfortable room and a wonderful meal. We'd love to have been able to stay longer

The Riverside is close to the centre of Salisbury but still easy to get to, no narrow streets and plenty of easy parking. The river view room was modern, clean, comfortable and very pleasant. The access to the garden and the river bank was a real plus. The breakfast buffet was good, fill up here and you will barely need lunch! The only minor problem is that the gravel on the car park isn't friendly to wheeled suitcases.

Good accomodation, clean and comfortable if a bit tight on space. Superb food.
