"We had a wonderful stay! Every staff member we encountered was very welcoming and helpful, which made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. We didn’t realize we had booked Toronto’s oldest hotel, which made the experience even more special. The staff-operated vintage elevator and Dianne Twombley’s artwork throughout the staircases added so much character, and we loved the unique décor on each floor. Our room was small but spotless, with an incredibly cozy bed. The complimentary bottle of wine was a nice added touch and breakfast at the main-floor restaurant was absolutely delicious. There were a couple of minor hiccups—a slow-to-heat shower and a malfunctioning toilet—but nothing that took away from an otherwise fantastic stay. We’d happily return! "

We were down the street from everything; downtown, china town, restaurants, Kensington market, and so much more. The apartment was in the perfect location. The host was very friendly and always making sure we had everything we needed. The apartment was clean and beautiful. It had so much space for just the two of us and that’s how we like it."
